Firm Structure and Staff
Our performance is enhanced through the organization of our firm by geographic area, each with its own director, to provide the greatest market penetration. Each area director has profit and loss, staffing, and client development responsibility. Our president is responsible for national client relations, legal employment issues and for personally conducting retained national searches.
Our Client Services Department is headed by a vice-president who is responsible for candidate qualifications research, comparative studies, general client support and coordinating the testing and evaluation program. A nationally recognized industrial psychologist conducts our testing and assessment program. A professional office administrator is responsible for supervising the daily administrative functions with the assistance of a highly qualified staff.
Sloan & Associates has consistently invested capital and resources to develop a completely integrated management information system. In 1985, we developed a multi-user, relational database designed exclusively for executive search in the Grocery Industry. Through the years, we have continuously refined and upgraded our proprietary database and telecommunications system. Our database is handled in a controlled, confidential manner and is used only by our organization.
The database comprises four major classifications -- Company (information on more than 1,200 companies); Candidate (biographic and employment information on more than 16,000 candidates); Market Data (top 50 market areas including information and key contacts in all classes of trade, market trends, and statistics); Category Information (63 product categories with syndicated data, category participants and new product information).
